yeah, this was long overdue, but i have officially decided that i am no longer posting on this site. for one thing, there's that ai crap that came out, but i also just can't deal with seeing so much weird and creepy stuff all over my recommended every time i come on here. i'd be astounded if there's anybody here (aside from some actual friends of course) who actually cared about my art enough to be disheartened to see me leave, but i've just lost all motivation to keep sharing art on here. this doesn't mark the end of my art sharing saga though. after a good few years of actively working to improve my skills, i'll make new accounts sometime in the near future on instagram, maybe tumblr, and if i feel like i'm good enough, newgrounds as well. the biggest reason i'm making this move is because i've become a very different person in the last couple of years. i got new friends on discord, gained a new sense of humor (thanks in part to them), and the types of art i make now are a

If you couldn't tell by now, I'm waiting much longer than I previously said to start a new account. And I have decided that I will probably get my new account set up by late next year. "Why so long?", you may be wondering. Because for my new account, I plan to use a different program to make my art. I'm currently trying to get the hang of Autodesk Sketchbook, but down the line, I may also end up using another program like IbisPaint, Procreate or Krita. And with this change, I'm also trying to improve my art in several areas, such as more expressiveness, depth, and better anatomy. So really, I'll be preparing my new account when I really feel like I'm ready to do it, which again, the earliest you could hope for is maybe late next year. Sorry for the disappointment, I guess

I personally don't really understand why some people would watch DA accounts that are clearly dead. I mean I get it if they like the art and whatnot, but I don't think it's worth it if they don't get any new content or updates out of it. It just seems like a bit of a waste of space imo
